Camelot BBS orginially started in August of 1990 In Tacoma, Washington running SpitFire BBS software.
The BBS was fairly simple,  a few door games, some local message and file areas.

In October of 1991, the BBS was moved to Milton, Wv (where is now) and still ran Spitfire.
In early 1992 I got hooked on RemoteAccess BBS software and the system took a major upgrade.

- Fidonet echos where added and D'Bridge was used as the mailer.
- Over 50 door games where added.
- 40 local and CD file areas where added.
- The West Virginia BBS List (WVBBS) was created and administed by Camelot BBS that listed all known BBS's in
  Wv.

1998:
Family, work and a drop in callers  was the reason the BBS went offline.

Fast forward to fall of 2025:
While playing around on the internet, I found that BBS's were still kicking. Some still using dialup, but most using telnet.
The fever came rushing back.

Camelot BBS was reborn using SynchroNet software, it is great software, helped me learn the new setups, but didn't suit my needs.
Next came Mystic BBS software, which is the current software running.

Current status:
A constant work in progress (a'int all BBS's ?).
Fidonet and FSXNet echo areas so far. Some door games.
Several file areas with more on the way.
MultiNode and MIRC chat.
